One might ask themself why you are here if  the first question a parks officers asks "Are you camping in a hard sided vehicle" They further explain that this campsite is closed to anything but hard sided RV's and trailers because of the "bear problem" being experienced at this particular location. The ride out to the campsite did give us another glimpse of Mt McKinley...

Though we didn't see a bear at the campground, I did see one a few miles up the road. While I was bear watching Greg was mountain biking in a hail storm (sorry no pictures of Greg he was shaking to much and the pictures would have appeared blurry)

A rather nice level lot with a bear proofed garbage can next to us...
