The second day down the Alaska Highway provided some spectacular scenery. We had our first encounter with wildlife, have no fear we didn't see a bear yet. The wildlife consisted of some mountain sheep, caribou, and maybe a moose (no picture to verify). The mountain scenery between Fort Nelson and Muncho Lake was absolutely breathtaking. This section of the trip was by far worth the entire journey thus far and we are filled with anxious anticipation of more breathtaking scenery when we get to Alaska.

Well, so much for the Alaska Highway... as you can see this part is still being constructed. This stretch of road lasted for about 6 miles...

Liard Hot Springs is a natural hot spring along the Alaska Highway. The water temperature was about 104F... "I smell sulfur"!!! Phew this place had an pungent odor!!!
